Not sure the quality of life and obviously he is a New Yorker, but nonetheless he is a living legend.

He's probably the greatest living player left over 90.

Not sure how many guys from that era still around although Whitey Ford is.

one year he hit .322 28 homers and 12 strike outs. :lol:

just for the hell of it i looked up yogi's stats - what a career. what impressed me the most were his strikeout totals. he had 8,359 plate appearances over 19 years and struck out a grand total of 414 times, or once every 20 AB. he never struck out more than 38 times in a single season. he was never a prolific home run hitter (358 lifetime) but for a hitter with his power i think those K numbers are amazing.
