I remember the hype being through the roof for him, but that injury was just gruesome. Cool to see him claw back, I agree. |

I guess he was in the rehabiliation process. It was the summertime. He had a sleeve on his leg and a brace I think. He was walking through the best buy on North Ave. I remember thinking to myself that his career was likely over. Of all the guys that I've seen who were the big point guard types he was probably the closest to Magic Johnson. I saw him in high school and his handle was fluid and he actually was a pure point even at 6'7. He wasn't a guy that you look and say he could play point. Point guard was actually his position. He was a special talent. |

I remember seeing West Aurora vs. Peoria Central at Northwestern in '04. Livingston vs. Pruitt. I can't believe it's been 11 years since that game, but I'm happy for his success after that brutal injury. |
