Happened to be in Geneva last night. What a beautiful community. It's like people actually care about maintaining their homes and yards. |

I went there years ago for a Cavalcade of Homes. Those homes were all beautiful but a little out of my price range. I enjoy Cougars baseball now and then, too. |

whenever the wife and i drive through there we always comment "so THIS is what a thriving downtown area is supposed to look like". very nice. ours is nothing more than seedy bars, a couple restaurants, thrift stores and empty storefronts. |

A complete stranger once attempted to murder me in downtown Geneva. It wasn't a pleasant experience. |

We love it out here. Lots of great family owned restaurants. The best restaurant in the area is Bien Trucha on Rt. 38 in Geneva just west of downtown. Its in a non descript building with no sign or anything. Looks like an old cleaners or store. My Wife and I would drive buy this place and always wondered why there were people waiting in line outside. A friend told us about a great Mexican joint in Geneva and this was it. Its expensive but the food is great. Very highly rated and they have been written up in numerous food articles. Be aware though that there is always a wait for dinner and sometimes for lunch. www.bientrucha.com |

Many of the homes in the few blocks immediately surrounding the downtown area are gorgeous. Lots of different styles of homes, too. Fiora's is a nice restaurant, Graham's has great candy and ice cream, and All Chocolate Kitchen is good, too. |
