Ice Mountain, which is owned by Nestle, is basically stealing from the Great Lakes. Their "product" comes from aquifers in Michigan that serve as water sources for Lake Huron, Lake Michigan, etc.

If you can taste the difference between the Kohler unit and your tap water, then it is doing well.
