One of the best catches on the tarp....which was cool enough....after the catch, he balances himself on the arms of the seats, turns throws back into the field.

Thats a tough play for anyone, thats a big man up there dancing like a cat!

I am sure the replays will be all over tonight for the catch , whcih is awesome enough, the continuance is awesome.

His defense this year has been great! And I am not talking about the actual glove work, but going to the right base, leaving the base , leaving the 2B get the ball etc.

That play was awesome athleticism and balance.

Impressive for sure but... Unless game 7 of the world series that was dumb actually. Could have easily broke an ankle.

Not sure I've heard it mentioned, or read it anywhere....but didnt Rizzo make a similar play last year,...and there was a player on third base that was awarded home? I recall that happening and thinking at the time it would have been better if he did not catch that ball (allowing a run to score).

Anyone remember details of that ?

Yeah, the rule states a baserunner will be awarded a base if the fielder makes the catch but ends up outside the field of play.

I just don't want Rizzo to get hurt. Let the popups reach the stands I say.
