This game was one of the greatest football games that I have ever seen.

Bob Stitt earned the Montana head coaching job by demonstrating an innovating offense at D-II Colorado School of Mines, and in his first game at the helm of the Grizzlies he managed the simple task of knocking off North Dakota State—NCAA Division I champions each of the past four seasons.

Joey Counts rushed in on fourth down with six seconds left in the game to give Montana a 38-35 win over NDSU, a squad which had lost only three games, total, in the past seven years. #StittHappens, indeed.

My second board post. I know you're all happy for me.

The game did not reinvent the sport, but it was a genuinely fun and exciting game. And you had a brand new coach leading a team that defeated the four time defending champions.

It was a good way to begin the college season.

It was a good game.

There was nothing else on yesterday besides 12-year olds thinking they were ARod.

This is all fine and good but Montana's dad really dropped the ball when it came to raising his daughter to be virtuous TBH

The title game last year against Illinois State was a great game with ND State as well. Tough loss to start the season but I have to give them credit for opening their
season against a quality ranked opponent and on the road. The schedules may have been made up years in advance, but maybe not for I-AA football.

For recruiting it was huge, to be on national tv and to be the only show going, it was a great day for both teams.

I am pretty sure that they are. It is a cast of usual suspects in that division of football.

I watched some of that game. That's an amazing football stadium for a FCS school.
Great location too, right on the side of a mountain.
