A government employee not doing his/her job, what a shocker. Imagine working for CMS (Medicare/Medicaid) in their payables department and having to issue checks to clinics and hospitals which provide abortion services. How could any Catholic handle that? I suspect there are plenty of things that are legal that are in opposition to the religious beliefs of various folks. Get over it. |

I am barely a Republican anymore.....these nut jobs are killing what should be a free market, small government party. And lest you think these nuts are only Republican voters, watch the debates, and you'll see plenty of freaks on stage. If you believe in the spirit of the American project, then you believe deeply in limited government, free speech, freedom of religion (not just Christianity), immigration (melting pot), etc. And I am fine if you don't believe in the ideals of this country because that is the American project. I respect your beliefs. I relish open, honest and sincere debate. But the Supreme Court has ruled. It is settled law. |
