Winning a world series is so much better than contending for a world series

With a score of 92 to 0, the Chicago White Sox are your reigning Chicago World Series attendance champions!

America, I know Sox fans love to overcelebrate, but didnt feel a 3rd thread was needed on this today...

They won 2 games on the same day. That was arguably the best I've felt after a Chicago team won a championship.

Best day for baseball in Chicago in at least 50 years. What a wonderful ride.

BRick, 92-0 doesn't quite have the same ring to as it 11-1 does 8)

It really was an amazing run. Probably the best I'll ever see.

The fact that none of their opponents looked on the same level as them was the amazing part.

The Kane County Cougars won the Midwest League Championship in 2014.
I think I enjoyed that more.

hard to believe it was 10 years ago. so little has happened in my life since then. actually a lot has happened as far as loss, but not much gained in the life

It really was one of the more dominant postseason runs in any sport in recent memory. What a team.

Yeah when the media wants to talk about an historic postseason run, they simply have to talk about the 2005 White Sox.
