10 states including Illinois and Indiana, have decided that taking in Syrian refugees was not in the best interests of the safety of their citizens, so they are refusing them entry from now forward. After all the terrorist activities took place in Paris, it's good to see that some people have decided that taking in Muslims who may have a terrorist or two amongst the group, is not a good idea. I wouldn't let a single one of these people in the country, much less the state. If you see how neighborhoods in France have developed, where Police have No-Fly zones they don't even go into because the Muslims there have made them havens for drugs and violence against whites, to take in any at all is crazy. Send em all back. At least Gov. Rauner had the good sense to turn them away from Illinois from this point forward. Already, Illinois had taken in 70 refugees though, mostly in Chicago.

Only problem is they can't refuse.

What kind of beta-ass country lets lunatics with guns dictate our policies. If we were letting these refugees in before, why stop now? Good to know the USA is so weak-willed that a handful of looney-tunes can force our hand by shooting up other countries. Want America to do something or stop doing something? Just go shoot up some other country. America will fold like a cheap lawn chair under a stoned Ralphie May. America: crazy guys with guns or boxcutters bitch since 2001.

Agreed.

I figure if we give Steve and his 10 best friends or closest family members...and get two terrorists back in the trade...we'll be playing with house money for at least a bit.

I don't know what the answer is. I don't full agree with ES but don't fully agree with Hussra either. The terroists need to not be let in, and I'm all for killing or shipping the ones we have here back to where ever.

I would ask the question- how does the liberal, particularly the SJW, hold his/her arms open to a group of people who have values that amplify x 10 the worst of the people they argue with daily on social media?

Many still do think it about Jews which unfortunately is why Israel has to exist.

What do you think about the Refugees?

I guess in WW2 some feared that Nazi's would be coming in with the Refugees (as many now believe about ISIS)

But the Jews weren't terrorists so I am confused.

Seriously?

So you believe all Syrian refugees are terrorists?

That was people being antisemitic whch I think was at it's height in the first half of the 1900s. I don't agree with that. It softened after WW2. It's a lot different than what we are facing now. There is a real danger here and I think people are over looking that because of our values and beliefs.

Responding to RPB without quoting. No. But your example seemed not to fit because ISIS has pretty much threatened they will insert operatives into the refugee flood. And the Jews back then never even had that threat however little it may be.

As far as these states and governors I will have to assume they know or have learned that they have little or no power. Are they simply trying to leverage some form of better clearance procedures on refugees? I would let refugees come as planned with procedures but I do not have a high level of faith in the government to weed them all out.

For these states that are refusing, how does that work in reality? Is it even possible to keep these people out?

This is a terrible situation and no doubt some good innocent people are not going to get help because of a small group of wackos.

I don't think so. Americans did not want in to Europe's war and was highly Antisemitic.

Better argument for you would be neisai camps during WW2.

Well, it's a little complicated. First, I believe the most harmless of them does not share what I consider our values, i.e. equality for women, etc. Muslim rapists running wild in Sweden are a real problem. It's not some phony propaganda. And that behavior is completely acceptable where these people come from. I'm also suspicious that such an overwhelming number are men in their 20s. Where are the all the female refugees? Finally, I believe in the old adage, "beggars can't be choosers". If you're a real refugee you probably should be ecstatic simply to have escaped the horror rather than plotting about where to go to get the most free shit.

I don't think anyone believed that at all. The world just hates Jews.

No. They can't keep them out of their states.

Because the SJW doesn't think about their actual values when they argue for them to be "rescued".

I'm sure that's true. I believe the term is "knee-jerk". It really is a war of ideas and philosophies. And I don't see how a person can sit around wringing his/her hands and saying how "sick" they are that they can't watch the Blackhawks or the Cowboys while getting angry that someone might say, "Whoa, slow down" to welcoming a bunch of people who come from an overtly misogynistic society where behavior like Greg Hardy's isn't blinked at or even any sort of anomaly, but rather the norm.

.

From what I have read, there were similar fears back then with Nazi's playing the role of ISIS

EDIT: I guess not. But that is why I made the comparison (because I believed it to be true)
