Just re-signed with the Mets. Aged 43, entering his 19th season. |

I love it. He threw strikes and the Royals knew he threw strikes...so they hit him. But he's still effective. |

I know he is old, but it feels like he is even older than 43. |

He really is a freak of nature. I watched him pitching in the postseason and just kept shaking my head in disbelief....but he is still an effective pitcher. |

Signing him and giving him a statue would be kind of funny. I mock the Sox organization for the psuedo celebrations of anything and everything. They have taken the path of a minor league marketing plan, without the fun part. That would be a chance to have some fun. Free Churros every Colon start. Churro eating contest. Find the Bartolo look alike contest. I will pass these along to the Sox brass again....free of charge! |

What a ridiculous move by the Mets, I like Colon but dude throws batting practice..he's washed up.. I could see a Million or maybe even 2 million for mop up duty and spot starting..they gave him 7.5 million . |

Saw a special on him...apparently he developed strong hands/wrists by squeezing grapes out in the field. |
