As far as baseball-themed Christmas gifts go, this is one of the best.
Mets right-hander Noah Syndergaard gave his entire family T-shirts with Bartolo Colon's face and the tagline "Big Sexy" for Christmas. And I do mean his entire family. Parents, grandparents, the works.
Sadly, the dog did not get a "Big Sexy" shirt. Maybe next year.
Big Sexy will indeed be back in Flushing next season too. The Mets recently re-signed Colon to a one-year contract, in part to provide depth after young pitchers such as Syndergaard endured career-high workloads during the team's postseason run.
