Heading back from intermission vs the Avs, Mike Kitchen was on the headset and they got to the topic of the All Star Game. They of course went over Crawford's glaring omission from the roster, but Foley wasn't afraid to ask: Isn't it better/Wouldn't you rather he have the time off instead of having to suit up for what amounts to an ill-attended after school pick up game?

Foley is sometimes unfairly labeled as a Hawks product shill. Was nice to hear him be upfront and basically say "yes, ASG are nice and Crawford deserves the accolades. but they mean nothing. staying healthy does."

I'm just glad he didn't play it safe or lazy and just run with the narrative of Crawford being snubbed. Thats obvious. This ASG is going to be a clown show and too many people are focused on why guys like Rinne got in and Crawford didnt. The important issue is being healthy for the final stretch and into the playoffs. And he put that out there during the broadcast basically saying "fuck your all star game".
