It looked like Carson didn't hear his name announced and it got worse from there.

Either Trump or Carson could have saved this by making an entrance with a twirl in a backless suit.

But after Cruz walked by him, he should have just walked out. He looked frozen.

Though I generally hate when people draw grand conclusions from relatively minor things like this, I have to say that the lack of ability to make a decision and just walk out encapsulates Carson's personality very well. He is always a step or two behind.

The whole thing served as a metaphor for this election

Rubio and Cruz passing Carson and Trump, Jeb taking a shot at Trump, and the moderators literally forgetting to bring out Kasich
