Jarosch has decent ones.

That being said...they are wildly overrated.

if you grew up eating mustard sandwiches and wandering the railroad tracks for peices of coal to heat the house, they are a massive treat. otherwise, not so much.

Who overrates them? They have their day. If someone wants to start a Napoleon Slice Day, I'd celebrate it as well.

You're the type of guy who's always suspicious
I'm the type of guy that says the paczki is delicious

That's fair. It is only the day. But even on this one day, though I do often eat the Paczkis... I'd kinda just rather have a standard donut from County Donuts or Spunky Dunkers.

Guy at work brings them in every year as his family owns a Polish bakery.

I got a box of them from the Jewels & they were pretty great. They must have another bakery making them.

Had one at work today as the office manager was nice enough to grab a dozen.

That being said, I'd still prefer a Dunkin Donuts Boston Creme if I'm gonna fill my body up with lard and carbs.

Anyone who would classify this as a mere donut.....

I could build a pretty sturdy house with the Donuts from Honey Fluff on Joliet in Countryside.

And that is why it adds perspective as to the quality of paczkis.

In general, that's true...but there's something awesome about the Boston Cremes.

I've had worse, but I don't think I can pinpoint exactly where from. There's not much of a selection in my area, except for the Lansing Bakery, which closed about ten years ago.....so DD.
