Lots of reports on this. That would be interesting. Can't see it actually happening though.

So this was the back door deal A&M was trying to get, that Bernstein was talking about yesterday, I was thinking Saban.

Let me say where this makes sense, Richt has been at Georgia since 01, was on the hot seat after last year and got hotter after the first 2 games, then won out until LSU crushed them last Saturday. Really this season, besides beating Florida, one of couple times, who did they really beat. It doesn't help that your conference will win 6 national titles in a row and you really haven't been close in those 6 years.

I like Richt, but if your Georgia, it could thank you for what your done and it's time to move on, and for Richt could just say time for a change of scene and don't have to be on the hot seat for a couple of years. Add, since A&M is moving to the SEC, Richt knows the SEC and could help make the move a little easier.

I was listening to Tim Brando talk over the weekend, and he was talking about the A&M Situtaion, brought up the back door to get Richt.

What I found intresting was that he kept saying that half of the A&M people didn't want Sumlin, I was just wondering was sadly is it a color thing, or just that more people wanted Richt than Sumlin, or something else.

Probably because Sumlin only has a good record due to having a good quarterback in a terrible conference. Last year without said quarterback he went 5-7.
