Just seems that NIU has a Thursday or weekday night football game every single week! I give them credit if they can get that exposure for s small school, but I thought that was the point, to get ALL the small Schools some exposure?

ESPN has a multi-year contract with the entire MAC conference. These teams played on an ESPN network on a Tues/Wed/Thurs this year:

NIU - 3 times
Buffalo - 3 times
Miami, OH - 3 times
Ohio - 3 times

Ball St - 2 times
Kent - 2 times
Toledo - 2 times
BGSU - 2 times

Cent. Mich - 1 time
West. Mich - 1 time

Doesn't seem too out of balance for the team that has been the best in that conference for the last few years, and has by far the most marketable/popular player in the conference.

MAC did the same thing when Central Michigan was tits for a few seasons there under Brian Kelly/Butch Jones, with Dan LeFevour playing the role of Jordan Lynch.

Just feels like NIU plays every week on a weeknight. And good for them, max out the exposure

This is a little off topic, but since talking about tv and football, have you looked at the tv schedule for this weekend, ABC has Oklahoma/OKlahoma State at noon, then no game until Duke/FSu at night, Fox has a 330 game with Baylor/Texas, just different no ABC afternoon game, maybe didn't want to go up against SEC title game, but CBS will have a game at like 10 eastern with the MWC title game

Just a little different with the gaps on networks, and I can't see that MWC having a high rating for CBS.
