No team in the history of the game are comfortable with a Center dribbling that much, that close in.

Krutwig? Bite your tongue, Jimmy.

The hell game were you watching Jimmy? Most of the turnovers happened in the second half when Krutwig wasn't even in the game. Guards couldn't do much, especially in the second half when Michigan crowed the inside and Loyola started turning the ball over.

http://www.espn.com/ncb/boxscore/_/gameId/401025887

He was pulled after one of his TO's. Loyola had 15 TO's and he had 6 of them plus at least one double dribble that I can remember while he was dancing around again. Also Loyola's strategy should have been to get Michigan's Center in some foul trouble by forcing him to defend more.

No, he wasn't. He was trying to keep a 6'11" first round draft pick off the boards. Sometimes you're just out manned.

The whole tourney he was trash. He got by because he's a tall, fat sack of shit. His moves were horrible. If some 6'11 honkey doofus is gonna do that to him, what the fuck do you think is gonna happen to him in the pros against some tall angry black guy?

I don't even follow this shit and I know better.

I have to agree with you. He misses a lot of layups that a soph in HS could make.

What? We're blaming this on Krutwig? You're both brain damaged.

Wagner's ok at chasing shooters off the 3 pt line, but on the interior he's mostly an oversized coat-rack that even a guy who resembles the center for the ND Women's team could score on at will. Wagner's a 2nd rounder.

He's projected as a first rounder. Probably sealed that deal tonight.

Hussra is right. Despite the fact that Wagner was the best player on the court, it was against a much smaller Loyola team. I'm not saying Krutwig is an NBA player by any stretch of the imagination. I'm just saying he was trying to get Wagner to foul more aggressively, and Wagner didn't bite. I think part of it is Wagner is not that good in isolation down low. As a result, Krutwig was getting some decent baskets against him when the rest of the team was shooting like shit. This doesn't fall on Krutwig, it falls on the team's shooting overall and Michigan tightening the shit out of their defense in the second half.

Mo Vag wasn't on any mock drafts 1st round boards prior to last night that I noticed. Since last night, a couple this AM have him sneaking into the late 1st round (27th to Brad Stevens' Celtics) or 28th or 29th (depending on where GS ends up?) to the Warriors. Both would be solid landing spots for Wagner. Wagner wouldn't be expected to contribute much for the 1st season or two. Give his body time to fill out a bit more, put on some muscle and level up his interior D skills. Tho his ability to switch to most any player on perimeter D and his outside shot , even under pressure, make him valuable in the current NBA.

The ones I've seen have him early 2nd/late 1st.

To be clear, I'm not a fan of his. As you said, though, his game is probably a good fit with the NBA style.
