Apparently the former Oregon QB who was kicked out of school for two arrests over the past year is shopping his services and would be eligible this year. He graduated from Oregon, so it's not like he is an academic stiff. I think he would be a perfect QB in the NU system, and how much trouble could he possibly get into in the next 5 months?

Based on the trasnfer rules, Oregon holds all the cards here. He could go to sign with Ole Miss, enroll in a major that isn't covered at Oregon and oregon could still say no.

That might be true, but NU is kinda full on QBs. Persa is just as capable as Kafka was last year. Watkins (local kid) has a ton of upside but needs gametime experience. And the two true freshman Trevor Siemian and Kain Colter look to be even better. Not to mention the kid who just verballed out of Louisiana could blow them all away.

NU needs a runningback more than anything right now. 4-star recruit, Justice Hayes, named NU in his final 6, but all signs point to him heading to that school in South Bend.
