Since Im sure some of us will be viewing this game...

If D-Rob stays healthy, it will be a very good, and close game. I hope.

D'antoni in the press box doesnt hurt MSU all that much, but it doesnt help as much as D'antoni may think. I could see MSU doing what IU did and run the clock down every play to elongate drives. Thus keeping Robinson off the field.

Robinson should be able to get his, I have a feeling he may be airing it out a
little bit more today in order to try to open up the running game which MSU
will be keying on. I am a bit more concerned about Michigan's defense which
is pretty weak. They had no answers for Indiana last weekend. Should be
a good game and probably pretty high scoring. I am looking forward to it.

Michigan's defense is just fucking terrible, but D.Rob's maybe the most explosive offensive hyper-phenomenon since Barry Sanders went all video game numbers on the collegiate ranks his junior year.

And after all that hype he promptly throws a pick.

Damn. Nice little drive going here. D-Rob just teleported to the first down marker on a 4th down.

14-10 MSU

Rich Rod's gotta turn #16 loose, and stop with this deliberate passing game.

Good game so far. Michigan has had plenty of chances to have the lead.
Their defense gives up too many big running plays but that is just the way
it goes I guess. It should continue to be a decent game. I see this going
down to the wire. Michigan has run the ball much better than I anticipated
they would.

Yeah UM has the worst pass defense on the nation, but they're getting killed on the ground. MSU has always been a throwback Big Ten team on offense for as long as Ive watched them. Big pass plays, and a major running game.

The thing that helps Robinson the most is the skill guys around him. Most of them are experienced and sure handed.

UM needs to score on next drive or this game is prolly in jeopardy.

ANother big play given up... ugh. Robinson is going to have to put the team on his

Robinson's trying to take himself out of the heisman race with this game.

Just when I thought the tide was turning another INT in the end zone.
State is just biting off chunks of yardage at will.

MSU sure looks like the real deal. Michigan has shot itself in both feet which has
helped but the Spartans O-line is very physical and they have a couple of nice
backs. It will be interesting to see how Michigan bounces back from this, assuming
they end up losing of course. They started strong last year as well and then kind
of petered out.

Yeah, he still has some work to do, but only being a sophomore, his future looks bright. If he
can run for 1500 and pass for 2200 somehow this year that would be pretty damn impressive.

i missed a lot of this game wasting my time with "the social network".

was denard "held back" by the coach, or by the MSU defense?

He was undone by his own throwing arm. He tossed 3 INT's, 2 of them were in the
endzone when they were on the verge of scoring. Michigan will likely lose at least 2
more games as they aren't very talented on defense but Robinson is still fun to watch.
He can only do so much. The receivers dropped at least 4 or 5 passes, although I will
have to say he did throw some pretty crappy balls today. MSU's defense was pretty
decent overall, don't want to take anything away from them. They have some solid LB's
and their secondary did the job today.

he can only do so much because he's not a developed quarterback. that doesn't surprise me at all.
