From reports, Michigan has hired Brady Hoke as coach.

So San Diego State needs a coach, along with Tulsa, Stanford, and Uconn. Former Miami Hurricanes OC Mark Whipple is the leading canidate for UCONN, Tulsa and SDSU, may get assistants from other places and that leaves Stanford who could have a national championship contending team.

Allegedly been hired.

It's always nice to go into your next job knowing you were at best the third choice for the job.

What in the hell are the people at UCONN thinking? Hiring Mark Whipple as head coach?? Are you fucking kidding me. He had all the talent in the world the last few years at Miami and he produced one of the worst looking offensives I have ever seen them have. So basically suck at your job as Offensive Coordinator, your can not develop any of the talent and now you get a head coaching job????? How the hell does that work?

Uconn could be thinking it's a big name to take over the program and they could have the thinking we are defending Big East Champs, so we should get a person from a big time school in Miami. Also, UCONN doesn't have to hire coaches much, Edsall was there for 10 years and just look at their mens and womens basketball programs, those 2 have been their forever.

Uconn decided to go with former Syracuse coach Paul Pasqolini and Tulsa could get be getting a coach from Arkansas Garrick Mcgee and with Stanford just naming their offensive coordinator head coach today, that pretty much fills up the head coaching vacancies.

Pasqualoni was a good coach back in the day but will he be able to work with today's athlete. he hasn't been a head coach since 2004 and hadn't done much after McNabb was gone.

I guess Tulsa is going with one of their own assitant coaches in Bill Blankenship, Mcgee pulled his name.
