I'm reading an article about how tonight's field was laid on top of the field used for the rose bowl five days ago. I wonder if that will effect footing at all.

I thought after the MSU/Stanford game last week they said they would be removing the current surface and replacing it for tonight...not going on top.

On Thursday morning(?) ESPN had a college football show going & showed the crews laying new sod directly over the old field. Said they'd been out by 4-5 am & the field would be fine in 3 days.

Must have their own wing of the Bossard family out there.

So I decided to go read some old Winston recruiting articles. In one article it mentions the Cubs called him the day of the draft in 2012 but backed off when he refused to give up football.
