Seeing a lot of projections of Arkansas and Illinios meeting up in an 8/9 game. That would be fun. Hawger vs. the fighting Kens

Sucks to be the 8/9 game, if looking to make a run in the tourney. Avoid those #1's...

Win probability of making Sweet 16:
#8: 9.7%
#9: 4.9%
#10: 16.0%
#11: 16.7%
#12: 15.3%

Hearing a rumor that Bill Self suffered a heart attack or stroke overnight. Being reported that he won't be coaching today due to "illness".

Good point. Having been at both Illinois and KU there is no chance of a heart

Surprised to see Rutgers beat Michigan today. I thought Michigan would win that one with how Rutgers had been playing.

When it comes to big men, Underwood makes few adjustments, and the ones he does make are all wrong. Or maybe it's that this team can't score and can't make its free throws.

If they play Arkansas sounds like a hell of a game between the same teams.

Well not getting matchup #3 Brick. Man Penn St can shoot the shit outta the ball.

If they are hot they will be a very tough out in the tournament.

Some really fun matchups. Illinios and the Razorbacks. Some other really good 8/9 games.

Memphis will be no fun for Purdue in the 2nd round.

Kent St is no slouch for IU.

Rutgers not making the tournament.

Going to be a lot of fun. A big group of teams IMO that can win it all this year.

Marquette's gotta be happy with their seed and their path. On paper, the easiest # 2 path to the Elite Eight.

I'm very happy with Purdue's draw. It's the NCAA tournament and anything can happen but they avoided the underachievers/underseeded teams. Arkansas/Kansas will be a 50/50 game. Illinois/Kansas would also be close. I wouldn't want to play Auburn either. That's not to say that Memphis/FAU can't beat Purdue but I would be much more scared of any of those teams. Texas is really good but Colgate is by far the best 15 seed. That's the upset special there.

I also think West Virginia beats Alabama. Indiana beats Houston.

Indiana vs. Sampson would be fun. But I am not sure Indiana makes it there. Hope I am wrong. I am really down on the Big 10 chances in this tournament.

I think things are pretty much even across the board in that pretty much any of the 8/9 teams can give the 1 seeds trouble in the right game. Obviously it wont happen but I think it is possible all 4 of them could lose in the 2nd round.

Indiana is a lot like Purdue last year where everything relies on an inexperienced NBA lottery pick. It worked out amazing until he had the worst game he ever had as a player in the Sweet Sixteen.

Most 23-win teams didn't just lose their multi-year starting PG. Probably overseeded as a 4.
