Hail Mary into the endzone, deflected outside the endzone, was caught and barely brought back in for a touchdown.

Doesn't this help Ohio State? That is all I was concerned with regarding this game. I want those cheaters buried.

Hail Mary bounced off receiver in end zone to a MSU player at the one.

He fought his way into the end zone.

TD MSU.

Shouldn't have been overturned. There was no angle that proved that.

I thought the shot from across the field showed his upper body cross into the endzone.

I get you are having a bad day with the Illini and all, but that camera angle right down the line of the goal showed it clearly that on his 2nd effort as he turned the ball was well across the line

I still thought they blew the play dead on forward progress which you can not assign a specific moment in time to in regards to instant replay.

Camera was shaking and the ball wasn't clearly visible. IMO.

 Unless he was holding the ball behind his back then it was a TD. His entire upper body turned and went across the line. I am sure there will be plenty of good photos of it in the next couple of days.

The camera was shaking  you sound like the dude who was whining on Joe & Conner's show a few mins agao

I know ball wasn't visible but unless it was between the guy's legs, it crossed the plane of the goal line.

Exactly. I didn't think the replay was enough to overturn the original call.

Well I apologize then. I didn't realize the review booth could assume where the ball was.

So you are telling me that a man's entire upper body can turn and cross the line and the ball regardless of whether it is visible or not would not cross the line?

Well I'd never tell you anything. But I didn't see his "entire" upper body cross the line.

And, even if it did, I thought the review booth would have to actually see the ball to overturn a ruling.

ok Doc. Well I am just going to chalk this up to frustration and alcohol from the awful game for the Illini today. I mean for god's sake, you are agreeing with scorehead. You will see it differently in the morning when you are not so frustrated and drinky

I'm not that upset about the Illini. They lose one stupid game a year, minimum.

I still give them 8-4 with an outside shot at 9-3. Great season.

Nice win for Sparty.

There's a couple spots Wisconsin blew this game, but the major 1 I would say is with about 30 seconds to go, Michigan State had 3rd and 8 and Wisconsin calls a timeout as Michigan State was probably playing for overtime. I know Wisco was trying to get the ball back to score, and if that worked they would have got the ball back with about 14 seconds and needed 50 yards for a decent field goal.

When it looked like Sparty was playing for ot, WIsco should have done the same.

Not sure about Penn State yet, but if Wisconsin wins out, still gets the Rose Bowl out of it.

But now they've lost two stupid games in a row, Doc. The thing is, if you had told me before the season that the defense would be as good as it's been, I'd have thought a BCS Bowl was a real possibility.

Paul Petrino is digging himself a grave. Illinois' offense is pathetic. Just embarrassing.
