Lattimore from South Carolina just had his knee fucked up beyond belief. They rarely ever air splint a knee and it looked nasty as could be. He clearly dislocated it which means damn near everything is torn and you have to be careful no arteries were severed. He lost a lot of money on that hit. The entire gamecock team and half of the vols team all came out and surrounded him as he was lifted on to the cart which is something I haven't seen before for a knee injury.

It reminded me of the scene from The Program when the linebacker jacked up his leg and his nfl future. Lattimore could be a great student with another fine career ahead of him but he was going to get paid as a 1st round draft pick and that seems very unlikely now.

The word is he tore his patella, acl, mcl, pcl and lcl and broke his femur. He is probably never playing again.

Yeah, fucking grisly injury. He'll be lucky not to walk with a limp for the rest of his life, much less run or play sports.

At worst he'll get one more at bat with the Marlins.

I'll throw this out, if Alabama were to lose to LSU, if K-State, Notre Dame and Oregon finish undefeated, wouldn't the SEC be out of the title game.

I think so. You can push around Kansas State with a PR program that gets voters to alter your BCS ranking but you cannot win that game against ND.

I think Oregon loses at least one game though and possibly two. Oregon-Oregon State is going to be a battle.

If The U can win out in conference against Virginia and Duke then they would represent their half of the ACC in the championship most likely in a rematch with FSU.

I'd hope to god so.

If ND goes undefeated, no matter who else is undefeated, they go to the National Title game. There's enough backroom juice for the University that they'd be a shoe-in.

What a contrast in the USC and Oregon game. You got USC in the traditional simple uniforms and then you got Oregon in the new hideous looking uniforms.

I do not like USC at all, but I find myself cheering for them because I hate Oregon's uniforms.

This RB for Oregon is tearing it up tonight. 5 tds and over 300 yds. Imagine what his stats would be on the season if Oregon didn't pull its starters at the half in most games.

Imagine of they played a good non-conference schedule. :?

They should probably consider adding Navy, Purdue and Pitt to the schedule.

Hey now!!! Miami is in position to represent their half of the conference in the ACC championship game.

You are totally correct.

How'd ND do against them? I don't recall?

It was just one of those days. One of those days when the players from The U were daydreaming about dominating the NFL in the future. It happens and you learn to deal with it.

LSU is making it interesting. Some fat fullback just had a nice play.

Oregon going for 2 after scoring a TD on it's opening drive is pretty damn annoying.

It is awesome to see Vandy up 17 on UT and driving in the red zone after Dooley made an ass of himself in the locker room celebrating beating Vandy last year.
