i only watched the last quarter and the OT's, i cant believe pitt scored 23 points, their offense looked like shit. ND's defense really did a number on them in the time i watched.

Hopefully this was the trap game that teams normally lose but ND was able to escspe with a win. Didn't seem there was a lot of intensity on the defensive side early on.

Is there any one else on ND that can return a punt, that freshman looks really confused.

And maybe its because his father is on radio so his name is more noticable, but Mike Golic Jr. seems to take part in more screw ups on the ND offense than any other lineman. He got beat by the lineman who forced the Rees INT, and he stepped on Golson's foot late in regulation which pretty much killed the drive. Even on the play that preceded the wining TD, Golic didn't block anyone. But I guess he didn't jump offside, so maybe there is hope.

Well I wouldn't say they're worthy of a title game, but I'd be thrilled if they win the next 2 as that would lock up a BCS bowl and then let the chips fall where they may with USC and the computers. Would be entertained if they ended up playing Indiana in the Rose Bowl, which is surprisingly still a possibility.

I think it's really cool how ESPN just invited the father of an Irish player into the booth to spend 15 minutes of a nationally televised game talking about how amazing Notre Dame is.

Just have to hope everybody ND played wins. Was pretty dicey as Stanford and Michigan looked bad but pulled out games in the 4th.

It will be interesting to see if there are any repercussions for not playing in a conference title game.

Luckily for them, Kansas State doesn't have one either.

Hopefully they lose to USC and then you don't have to worry any more.

Id say similar. I think the current way college football decides a champion is a joke. Most ND people I know believe in no playoffs, no jumbo tron and no conference affiliation. So them being left out makes me smile if that is the case.
