13th overall in win shares, which is 1st amongst active players. The next active player is 39th. The list goes back to 2002.

23rd overall in PER, which is second amongst active players (Angel Reese).

Former Chicago Sky player Elena Donne is top 5 on both lists.

Great game, and I look forward to the next one. KK Arnold for Connecticut is a Freshman from here.

That game hurt my eyes. Caitlin Clark is a great women’s player though.

It is what it is. She is fun to watch though.

I was surprised on how scrappy the play was, how much makeup some players wear, one long legging improves your game and how frightening the LSU coach is.

It's the game these days, thank Steph Curry. And for Clark it works I guess...by far the most win shares per player this year.

Did Caitlin Clark taunt Angel Reese at the end of the game?

I don't know, but that was an offensive foul that injured Reese and changed the momentum of the game. Once Clark started cooking in the 3rd quarter, I knew the game was over.

There was an uneventful handshake line. Mulkey was very friendly to Clarke, and Reese and Clarke smiled like they thought they were supposed to smile at each other and moved past each other quickly. I'll conspiratorially say Reese fouled out early so she wouldn't be on the court at the end of the game.

Sure CC's shooting. But, having 3x more assists than anybody else on both teams is pretty amazing.

She posted under the "America" moniker for a while in hopes of getting a third K.

If they were real showwomen, they would have played up that hatred like pro wrestlers. It would have been good for the game and gotten more viewers.

but they did what biological women do, pretend everything is great to each others faces and then probably privately rip each other.

I don't understand why or how they play with long fake eyelashes but I hope Caleb adopts the look next year.

I don't get the lashes or wigs. I've never thought lashes enhanced the look of any woman but I'm a simple man. The awnings on your eyes is insane.

I checked in on the game toward the end, as I don't usually watch - but damn, my initial thought was that if it wasn't for CC this Iowa team would (will) be absolute dogshit.

It tracks with her league leading win share rate. However I do think the "slow down the Caitlin hype" crowd has a case because while Clark is clearly a top 2-3 player amongst active players, when you look at her historically she has tremendous competition as a NCAA player. She may not even be top 5 historically depending on the set of metrics one wants to use.

I agree for the most part, though Angel Reese is quite a drama queen, if not exactly a "showman".

I caught part of her postgame press conference on ESPN last night. She has quite a martyr complex and was complaining about the social and institutional constraints she faces in expressing herself--even as she was addressing dozens of reporters who were willing to amplify her words to an audience of millions.

I wish they would have different rules for women's ball. If they just made a rule where you have to be t0pless for free throws, I don't think anyone would complain.

Wigs fool me. I watch some fight videos and am always surprised when a woman's nice head of hair gets pulled off.

I'm a minimalist on makeup for women, but they all have some beauty tricks up their sleeves, from spanx to makeup to angles on photos.

After reading the WaPo article on her, she seems to have pieces of the Jordan psychological profile - everything can be turned into a slight she uses to motivate herself, and the slightest hint of constructive criticism directed her way is an act of betrayal which can never be forgiven.
