It's really long so here is the basic synopsis.
Auburn hates Alabama so badly that they've built an entire network to compete with them. They've been paying players for years but when they got slapped on the wrist by the NCAA earlier in the decade they ceased those operations. Tommy Tuberville would not go along with the pay for play schemes. When Alabama hired Nick Saban, Auburn got incredibly worried that they got rid of Tuberville and put in a guy who wouldn't fight the pay for play scheme. The FBI, while investigating irregularities with a bank failure overheard conversations talking about the pay for play deals. The links also go to pretty much every gambling establishment in the state. That is why the FBI is involved. Auburn has gone "all in" and is going to do whatever it can to win this year and worry about what is coming in the future.
