Isn't there a whole slate of games until the National Championship? They are better than this one, but LSU, A&M, Nevada, BC and 2 other teams have games left don't they?

UMN, there are two more bowls. One is the Pittsburgh/Kentucky yawner in the BBVA Compass Bowl Saturday in Birmingham, AL, while the other is the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl(?) between Boston College & Nevada Sunday night at AT&T Park in San Francisco...ESPN HD will have both of these games...Puh-leeze!

Didn't the one in San Francisco used to be known as the Emerald Nuts bowl?

Dan, I'm going to go out on a limb here...you seem to be quite defensive of the imitation U. Did you go to Miami of Ohio?

Correct sir. It's mostly just joking around. The U has every reason to be more well known athletically than Miami. Graduated in 2006, so got to see a lot of Big Ben play and hear of his sexual exploits/assaults in Oxford

So that isn't an exclusive to Pittsburgh thing?

With Dwight Dasher of Middle Tennesee State out there, he could be the only player to watch tonight against the Red Hawks, yes this one should be played earlier, but I imagine people will still watch.

You're probably right about people watching, Reents. That said, there are too many bowl games and there are 2 more meaningless ones Saturday leading up to the BCS Championship Game Monday night in Glendale, AZ.

I wonder if people would still say there are too many, if only the big ones were played after New Year's Day, like this week, Orange to Sugar to National Title game. The only reason these small bowl games are after New Year's Day, well some money probably switched hands.

   No. Not even close

He was the biggest pro athlete Miami has ever had. Easily passing Wally Szczerbiak...who incidentally would be my answer to favorite white boy in the association. Basically he got away with anything he wanted.

In addition to those two bowls, I keep seeing the Cotton Bowl featuring LSU and Texas A&M scheduled for Friday night.

Yes the Cotton Bowl is on Friday on Fox, this looks like a smart decision, as they say Friday is about the worst viewing night of the week.

I forgot about that one... FOX Sports is putting that game on in prime time, supposedly as a tune-up to how the network plans on covering Super Bowl XLV in that same Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX next month. Kenny Albert & Daryl "Moose" Johnston provide the call, but I believe there will be a Krista Voda sighting on the sidelines instead of Tony Siragusa...

This reents/SHARK thing is freaking me out. They need to stop posting in the same thread before my head explodes. :D
