Small sample of things I have seen on social media since Saturday night:

"The Irish did just enough to win. I'm unconvinced that they should be in the title game, but they did what thy needed to."

"ND played 1 top 12 team. Florida played 5. That's what happens when you play in the SEC. Florida should be in the title game"

"Until ND plays in an actual conference and the NCAA stops catering to them, I will have no respect for them."

Saying you don't respect ND and saying you think there's a handful of teams better than them isn't the same as saying they don't deserve to be in the title game. I think a lot of people feel like Rick does. I don't think anyone is even taken semi-seriously has ever attempted to argue ND doesn't belong in the title game with the current setup. Such an argument is impossible to make.

He should have stopped after the 6th best opponents... then it was just getting silly. So all three teams beat someone by 30 plus points, let's say Notre Dame was most impressive because Saragin has the opponent 52nd vs 54th or 63rd... at that level, there's not a lot of difference. He has a lot of good points, but goes a little overboard in trying to state the case.
