Michigan St. has pretty much guaranteed a spot in the Rose Bowl. Good for them after getting screwed out of the Sugar Bowl in 2011. I'm more interested in seeing them play Arizona State than Stanford. Contrasting styles of play and I'm pretty tired of Stanford. The over-the-top blow jobs they get is annoying.

I think NIU would have a better showing this year in the BCS as long as they realize Lynch won't get anything on the ground.

Iowa and Purdue aren't great but that step up in talent still showed they're too fast to have him flourish in the run game.

I don't think Lynch is going to be able to run against any BCS-level team. They're going to take that away and make him throw to beat them.

But , if they accept that, they might be able to do some misdirection type stuff to keep them in it.

How's NIU going to stop anyone on defense? Excluding Mich St & Stanford they're going to face a video game offense.

Of course do they give us a game of NIU vs UCF in the Fiesta Bowl, or split them up with one going to the Sugar Bowl vs Alabama and the other to the Fiesta vs Oklahoma State/Baylor.

I know I put Bama earlier in different bowls, but Sugar does get an SEC team usually, and Fiesta gets Big 12, of course Orange does sometimes get American conference this year which will be UCF or Cincinnati.

For whatever it's worth CBS Sports' bowl projection guy has NIU vs Oklahoma St. in the Fiesta Bowl. His other are:
Fla St. vs Buckeyes
Clemson vs Alabama
Auburn vs. UCF
Michigan St. vs. Stanford
