Why was this such a surprise? I mentioned earlier in the week that BG's defense was the best NIU had seen since Week 1 against Iowa. In a crazy offense conference, their D ranked 4th in the nation for points against going into the game.

Phew, I was worried some directional school was going to crash the BCS party. I can barely deal with the fact that other football programs exist besides Michigan.
