Penalty on A&M. Both teams must be mentally exhausted.

Rodgers with the 2pt conversion catch gives A&M a 74-72 win.

So Notre Dame's in, Alabama's in, Clemson's in with a win, and Oklahoma's in with a win and Alabama win over Georgia.

I don't really see Ohio State jumping Oklahoma if both win their conference championships, even though that seems like it's going to be the major talking point for the next week. Two SEC teams will once again make the playoff though if Georgia beats Alabama.

No big 10 team is worthy, I'll be pulling for ND

That's about the size of it. Wazzu blew their chance. As much as I rip on Oklahoma, they keep winning, though Texas has beaten them this year. And I know I am supposed to pull for the Big Ten teams--and I do--but Ohio State is pond scum. Should be interesting if both OSU and OU win...

Looking like Bama v Oklahoma and ND v Clemson.

I'm guessing ..

Bama is minus 9
Clemson minus 7.5

I think Alabama and Clemson are in win or lose, then Notre Dame is in, if Georiga wins there in, a loss, Im hearing a lot say Ohio State would be in, if this matters to people, I know Northwestern has a decent team, but I could see Ohio State running up the score if needed, because I give Texas a chance to beat Oklahoma.

Why would you think they would get the chance to run it up against Northwestern? They lost by 3 and 10 to Michigan and ND. Their biggest losing margin of the season was 14.

What was Michigan's largest margin before this weekend?

of defeat?

They only lost one game.

The point, obviously, is that Ohio State is capable of running up a score on a team that may not have been previously killed like that.

well, sure, they are capable but NU hasn't shown itself to fall victim to having the score run up against them when faced with competition comparable to OSU. On the opposite side of the ledger, OSU defense in the last five weeks has given up, 49, 31,6, 51 and 39 to some incredibly underwhelming offenses.

Yep, just came here to say that. OSU has given up some big scores and they didn't exactly have a tough non-conference slate. NU definitely has a chance.

NU and OSU...now those are two different fan bases. If you've seen OSU play, you know what I mean. Some nasty folks.

NU hasn't played anyone comparable to OSU.

So Oklahoma and OSU are basically the same team is what I'm getting out of this.

Do you mean comparable to teams OSU played or teams that play like OSU? OSU had the more difficult schedule.

Sorry, I vice-versa'd it.

At least in the way they win, they are. OSU has more talent, but OU has the better QB.

The talent gap isn't that far without Bosa.

OSU in terms of talent is probably only behind Alabama.

Ohio State's defense has fallen off a cliff since Bosa retired from college football.

polls say differently

I do understand what you are saying but I think you are deifying OSU based on the name and not how they have played. The great Maryland Terrapins put up 51 on them and had them in a death grip just two weeks ago. Ok, maybe you say that was a look ahead game. Purdue hit them for 49 and Nebraska for 31. These were all at or below .500 teams.

Oddly enough, at the beginning of the year, NU had one of the toughest schedules in the country....despite my muddled post somewhere above, I think they played an even schedule, though OSU won a couple big games on the road. I'm looking forward to this.
