yep, I didn't stay up to watch the game, but I assume it was just a typical Bill Walton broadcast. All his broadcasts involve him and the play by play guy going at it, that's the bit.

I've heard plenty of Bill Walton. This had a far different edginess to it.

Some coming from Benetti as well. This wasn't the wacky Bill Walton experience.

hmm, maybe it was Benetti? I don't think they usually do games together, it's usually Walton and Pasch. They have a great chemistry together and are always going at it a bit with Pasch usually serving as the straight man. Always comes off as ligth and funny. Sounds like Benetti was trying to do that as well and it sounds like it came off as mean spirited both ways as opposed to the desired result.

Hopefully Benetti and Walton are doing more games together today, I'll be paying attention.

This team has got Ayo and nothing much else. Well-and Frazier if he is hot.

Josh Whitman, Lovie and Underwood should all be summarily dismissed immediately.

They had Taylor Horton-Tucker too but cut bait on the demands of the Irvin family.

Looks like Underwood isn’t the answer either. Illinois needs to cancel it’s b-ball and football programs and concentrate on hockey. Maybe they can do better at that.

Who plays worse defense: Illinois football or Illinois basketball?

Stuck with Underwood now that he chased everyone else away, but I think he'll work out. Griffin, Ayo, and Giorgi are all freshman and have played stupid ball at times. Much rather have Underwood than Groce, under whom things just got stagnant. No talent there.

Absolutely. Stick with Underwood.

Maybe Whistler went to a less challenging Big10 school.

Personally, if there is something to bitch about, I think it would be the inclusion of "immediately" in that sentence.

When it comes to current Illinois athletics, I would lean more to summarily dispatched for the whole lot of ‘em.

Watched the last 12 minutes last night and thought they looked a bit better than when I saw them lay an egg against Georgetown. I was impressed
with the trapping D as they got some forced timeouts and bad passes. Their shooting is very suspect most nights but at least it looked like they were
running a bit more of an organized offense. Going to be a long season for sure. I'll keep checking in with them but will likely find myself rooting for
Illinois State to try to grab an NCAA bid as this team has no chance.

Didn't watch the game. I see they shot under 33% for the night so you can't continue to do that and win much. My next game tuning in will
likely be the game against Mizzou. My brother in law is a Mizzou alum and we usually watch this one. I've gotten the better of the Braggin Rights
matchup recently, but I doubt it will continue this year.

I think in every game they give up a 15-0 run in the second half and lose in every game.
