Maybe I'll just choose a second team to root for since mine isn't good enough.

Your question wasn't arrogant enough.

Sorry you didn't like college football prior to the age of 18-19.
You missed some good stuff!

I was a Notre Dame fan. There just wasn't any reason to be one after that time.

I don't know what I'm laughing at? Coming from a guy of your limited intelligence that's great.

I was laughing because he was pointing out you root for Notre Dame even though you went to NIU, which is a bad-irrelevant football team.

He stopped liking ND once he started going to Purdue.
That wasn't a joke.
Then you laughed.

And somehow then said that I have "limited intelligence".

Notre Dame is so damn polarizing!

They benefit from that loss though don't they?

Hell even I was very surprised at how they played FSU

Maybe FSU not so good?

ACC benefits from that loss for sure. That loss doesn't hurt ND as much as some losses do for some other schools (This loss is better than Oregon or Georgia's loss, for sure)

FSU not as good as last year. No way.

That's not a joke.
That's not an insult.
Therefore, pretty sure you don't know what you're laughing at.

Since you keep bringing up my inferior intelligence on the matter - maybe we'd all understand your superior intelligence (that you are so confident in) if you'd share what school's team you stopped being a fan of after you went to another school and became a fan of their team?

It wasn't an insult. It was a joke about rooting for another university after attending a different one. You don't see this because you're easily one of the most insecure online personas I have ever seen. The fact that you're so sensitive and always talk like you have a pole shoved up your ass is what's so amusing about engaging you in debates.

I didn't go to a college. I have no problem saying that. I just love how insecure you are about literally everything so I try not to pass up opportunities to expose that. But seriously, you making fun of someone else's intelligence is similar to Ike telling people they need to watch their weed intake. Out of everyone on this board, you and Scorehead are almost certainly the least capable of critical thinking.

Did I make fun of somebody's intelligence? Re-read the last couple pages. Who did that?

That's what immature people do. Go straight to "you're dumb" jokes. Next year you'll probably learn how to make fun of my momma.

I love how you have repeatedly reassured yourself that you are understanding this thread on some kind of superior level that takes a higher level of thinking. You've done it multiple times

Let the hate flow through you everyone. This is what happens when ND is good again.

I can't wait for ND to get crushed again by a team from the SEC West in the final four!

Looked around and didn't see this mentioned anywhere...Notre Dame receiver in bed with pornstar Lisa Ann.

So I guess he can cross nailin' Palin off his bucket list.

Todd McShay disagrees

"The biggest question for these Big Ten teams is whether or not the SEC gets two teams into the playoff. If so, their odds significantly decrease, especially if Florida State runs the table. A one-loss Pac-12 team would likely have a stronger case (particularly Oregon, as it beat Michigan State in Week 2), and a one-loss Notre Dame (which I have far more respect for this week than I did prior to its loss to FSU) and a one-loss Big 12 champ would also merit consideration."
He isn't disagreeing with me. He said Notre Dame and the Big 12 champ would also merit consideration over MSU.

However, the ultimate tiebreaker would probably be MSU winning their championship game.

You think MSU is a lock to pass Notre Dame

Every expert I can find online thinks it could go either way.
The people making the decisions have already put MSU ahead of Notre Dame.

It sucks for Notre Dame, and I'd be mad if I were a Notre Dame fan, but it also is the reality of the situation they have chosen. Not playing in a conference is going to be held against them for some stupid and some rational reasons.

They still have a good path to the tournament unless the SEC gets 3 in, which for the first time seems possible.

If that happens, I predict the ratings will be far, far lower than the initial predictions. Not quite baseball low  , but I think it will be a bloodbath & I am rooting for that. Lets face it, no one cares about Mississippi or teams from Mississippi. It's only slightly less backward assed than it's neighbors and there is no reason to think longingly about (or root for) anything out of that God foresaken state.

Hell, even SEC schools & fan bases don't care about either school. Unfortunately (for the SEC & ESPN) Auburn and Alabama have shown how boring their 2014 brand of football really can be.

I agree.

Unless the announcers were forced to say "M I crooked letter crooked letter I crooked letter crooked letter I curved letter curved letter I" instead of Mississippi...then I would watch...

It will be watched by millions upon millions of people, even if it is the region of the country that Reader hates so much. To think so is kind of crazy, there is nothing else on New Year's Day.
