Where the hell did Oklahoma State's opponent come from?? Lamar??

They better have a national champion javelin thrower.

I think Illinois could have challenged for the Big Ten title if they still had Koennig as the DC. Granted, the QB situation is still not good enough, but Koennig could clearly coach it up on the defensive side of the ball. Cubit can clearly coach the offense.

Too many teams hire people who can recruit (or pay players) and no one hires guys who can actually coach. I feel college football is the opposite of college basketball in that a coach who can recruit is more important in basketball than football.

Shades of Appalachian St. over UM under Lloyd Carr.
Akron has good size and a well-developed passing game, from the segments I saw. They deserve a lot of credit for going in there fearlessly.

No argument there, although the 2012 defense for 'Bama is considered better than their 2013 -- but it's irrelevant as A & M did beat the 2012 team.

Before we bury Notre Dame, let's remember that the Irish are 14-1 over their last 15 regular season games -- with the 1 loss coming on the road against a ranked opponent. I realize many fans are frothing at the mouth at ND's expense, but they're far from dead & gone.

I know we will probably get that week where everyone gets a loss, but looking at it now we could have 4 or 5 undefeateds at the end of the season.

I like the Florida State-Clemson winner to go undefeated, the Oregon-Stanford winner, Ohio State should be going to Michigan, Alabama has a shot and Louisville.

I know Mariotta is the Heisman leader, but Murray from Georgia is losing all these players and if they go undefeated the rest of the way, would get my vote.

It has to be a record for both teams to have only a field goal a piece through 3 OT's.

So how can an ejection for a penalty be reversed but the penalty isn't reversed?

Football sucks.

Awful loss for Michigan. I would make the kicker walk his ass home. You can't miss a 33 yarder, lined up in the middle of the field.

The snap sucked. He about hit the holder in the facemask. It threw the timing off.

I'm trying to figure if Texas beating Oklahoma isn't, paradoxically, more of an indictment of Brown.

Louisville did take the lead, but Central Florida drove down the field to win and upset the Cardinals

As is usually the case, Georgia and South Carolina going down won't be evidence that they were overrated but instead will simply be portrayed as demonstrating how tough the SEC is.

I get what Zeph is saying but then you have the Big Ten fucking it up even more. Northwestern dropping to Minny?!? Ohio State should pull out the game but they're down a TD at half. That's embarassing for a supposed top-5 team. What the fuck Urban. Bucks haven't looked good once this year playing an opponent that isn't horseshit.
