Can we merge this with the les miles thread.

Cuz either that is gonna happen or they are going to pay urban a zillion dollars to come to Michigan.

Michigan dropped to 20. Frankly, they shouldn’t even be ranked at this point - hell, they barely made it to OT before finally beating Army AT HOME two weeks earlier.

Fuck Michigan.

Michigan has no fucking idea what it wants to be...I thought they wanted to be a grind it out the bruising team, but then they go get a spread option QB in Patterson and then don't suit the offense to them. They have some talent at WR, but never use it. He recruits shit running backs, the oline sucks and so does the defense.

McCaffrey should be the starting QB moving forward if he isn't dead.

So i've been a michigan fan since i was a little kid. back then it was pretty cool to be a michigan fan. my dad went to school just outside of ann arbor and naturally he became a fan.

as soon as i became an adult out of college, things went to pot. app st happened, and then carr was gone. and then rich rod came in with a completely new system and an empty recruit cupboard for the most part. and then he got fired and then it was hoke who succeeded with richrod players yet couldn't recruit or coach for nothing. meanwhile we are just getting our asses handed to us by OSU going on a decade.

then comes harbaugh...the savior. qb whisperer. andrew luck, colin kaepernick.... things were changing. except the didn't.

"just needs his own guys"...."his own qb"....well here we are and while he's got talent. There is no identity to this offense at all. NFL caliber wr's who just get no balls thrown to them. its patently absurd.

At this point, unless there is a real turn around (there won't be...they'll be destroyed by OSU to top it off) this experiment is over.

Harbaugh's too popular with the administration at Michigan to be shit-canned by them. More likely he voluntarily takes time off before returning to the NFL.

i think if all he does is beat OSU this year, he'll stay. that said, i'm just not seeing it. frankly OSU has played noone yet but our eyes can see clearly they are legit. if he goes 0-5 against OSU i think admins hands will be tied. its a national story how terrible this is.

They had to go 3 deep Saturday at QB and McCaffery was not one of them.

yeah the real test is this week. iowa is decent in almost all facets of the game. not great at any but sound everywhere. if they get blown out (what i'm predicting) all hell will break loose.

Until they smoke U of I the following week and then Michigan homers will say Jimmy just needs one more class, he's on the cusp!

He could win the National Championship every year and if he can't beat Ohio State, he's gone. I'm shocked he's survived as long as he has.
