I watched my first game yesterday since Purdue has a team. The play was a little rough as these teams have barely practiced together but it was pretty good and the Elam Ending is better than a normal clock. I could see this becoming a big event in the next few years. |

Been around for seven years now and been on tv for a while. The elam ending is something I also like. |

So this new ending means a team can theoretically come back from any deficit, without worrying about the clock running out, right? |

I'm also getting into this. Watched the Purdue game. I also agree that the Elam ending is a lot of fun. Interesting to see the rosters of the different teams. With a $1,000,000 prize to be split, I'm intrigued by the number of players each team brings. Some teams have as many as 11, but a lot of teams have 9. Saw one team only had 7. That's ballsy. Also wonder what the coaches get cause each team has a coach and usually an assistant or two. Lots of mouths to feed. |

You need a clock in two things: narrative and sports. It ain't a novel or a game without it. (And yes, baseball has a clock . . . just a cooler one.) |

Great game though, this tournament is a lot of fun so far. Maybe it's cause I'm really starved for basketball, but I've really enjoyed this. |

Though, I believe the Illini had a player choose a different team with a better chance to win. |

this turned out to be a great tournament. The Elam ending may have a really stupid name, but it's a lot of fun to watch. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the norm in 10 years. It sure beats the hell out of the parade of free throws and time outs you usually see at the end of a game. |
