Never thought that it is fair that auto qualifying teams are slotted into first four games. It should be that you get an auto qualifier bid and you’re in the field of 64 full stop.

Let four at large teams slug it out in Dayton for #12 seeds.

For the really bad ones, it gives them a chance to actually win a game, as well as some better TV coverage.

agree 100% as do a lot of people. The auto qualifiers earned the right to go the dance and play on the big stage in a regional. let the Michigan States and UCLA's of the world play the play in games. Besides it's better for TV. No one wants to watch Norfolk vs Appalacian on Thursday night, but 4 back to back at large battles would be great.
