I have to admit enjoying the air raid offense and Dan Orlovsky's game call. I still can't bring myself to root for Notre Dame though. I'm not THAT sick.

If I'm Florida St, I'm looking forward to talking to Tommy Rees.

Very weird game so far. No rushing game, defense is boom or bust. Coan going nuts.

Not what I was expecting but up two scores at half is hard to argue with.

That's the Oklahoma State factor. Even in years when they have a good defense (like this year), it's gonna be a shootout.

Post subject:  Re: Notre Dame: The Marcus Freeman Era

i don't think i watched OK ST all year, so this is strange game from the plodding ND rush thing i'm used to.

Post subject:  Re: Notre Dame: The Marcus Freeman Era

I’m mildly concerned at this point. ND isn’t really a shootout team.

I don’t view them as plodding, but lacking Williams & an effective run game is showing.

Post subject:  Re: Notre Dame: The Marcus Freeman Era

yeah, plodding was probably not correct. but no run game is concerning

Apropos of nothing, I’m not sure tommy rees knows how to close his mouth. Every time they cut to him he looks like a goober.

When it comes to defense, Freeman has a little Mel Tucker in him. That defense is a sieve

No Kyle Hamilton hurts, but they look like shit. They’ve collapsed the pocket several times on this guy but can’t actually bring him down.

Also, coan’s takeaway from his one good half is that he should fucking fire the ball at guys 3 yards away from him.

I’m not going to start a Fire Marcus Freeman thread, but I’m not opposed to the creation of such a thread.

If you told me Coan was trying to lose this game I’d buy it.

Didn't see this coming. My oldest is heading back to Nashville and we'd been talking since it was 28-7.

I don’t like his arm but he’s very mobile. I feel like he could be an ok backup.

He's thrown a couple of guys open. Not a given with college QBs

He's thought about it. But he's already gone and not averse to stopping somewhere urban.

these guys still suck.

it's not even a SEC team they're losing to now. Its some no name program that is going to beat them.
