only 2 Final Four appearances in 40+ seasons as HC? And Izzo has 8 in a decade or two less of coaching. Tough gig tho. You'd think there'd be more multi championship coaches but just getting one NCAA title as a coach places em in great (and not so great, Kevin Ollie) company. Izzo lucky he got his one when he did. He really needs a 2nd one to elevate above the crowd with only 1 title. I thought the team Izzo had in the covid year had a decent shot; mostly cuz guys had started skipping college for overseas (Ball) or the G-League or to sit home and mope (Wiseman) . So even tho Izzo didn't have bunch of future NBA guys on his team that year, they were playing really well in March right before the shutdown.
