Great news. They must have heard the backlash from the 96 teams idea. Figuring out how to broadcast every game is great too. The online stuff was good but not as good as HD through cable. |

I'd like to see the 68vs 61, 62 v 67, 63 v 66 and 64 v 65 be bubble teams that are fighting to get into a 12 seed. |

What is a bracket with 68 teams going to look like? |

So 4 play in games instead of just one. That works. Just make it so the play in games are between at large teams only. |

"Congrats on your #1 seed Kentucky, you get to face Arizona. #2 seed Kansas will face Northwest Missouri State" Three more "major" teams will get in, but they'll still be 12-13 seeds. The play-ins will weed out the non-contending conferences. |

I just didn't want to see a small school win their conference and then not get into the field of 64. |

I think the play in winners will play the 1 seeds. Well this will end the March Madness package on Directv. Well we hear from the NFL today, saying they are mad this news came out on Draft day, like Selig was mad about the Mcnabb trade on opening day and Vitale mad Tiger was talking on the day of the national championship game, I would say no the NFL will not be mad. |

Urlacher's missing neck wrote: Ok, last 4 in vs first 4 out for the 9 seed. That's better, but I still think it's not entirely fair. I mean, realistically, those 4 play in teams would be worlds better than the tagalongs that fill out the bottom end of the bracket. Why make them play seven games to win the championship, and let the detritus from the MEAC play only six (theoretically; of course they'll never win). But I'd prefer having them play for the 12 seed or whatever than the 16 seed. And before people say "Butler!" or "George Mason!", those teams were five and eleven seeds. They were good enough for at large births anyway. |

Does this mean no more DirecTV Mega Madness and suck-ass CBS switching away from games b/c Duke or UNC is about to tip off? |
