Here is the Bowl schedule for this year, I wish they would just have the BCS Bowls after New Year's Day, get your fill of Big 10 and Sec Teams on New Year's Day.

This is getting regoddamndiculous. I find myself caring less and less about the actual championship game. They have taken a good idea and made it absolutely anticlimactic.

All games but the championship should end by Dec 1 with the championship a couple of days later.

Don't forget though, that the reason that they don't want a playoff is that they don't want student athletes playing into the second semester of school.

The only problem is that they could now have the semi-final games on Jan 1st and Jan 2nd and the title game a week later and actually have LESS student athletes playing football into the second semester.

I have to hand it to Delaney. If the biggest day in College football is still January 1... he's basically guaranteed that the Big 10 has 4 New Year's Day bowl games. Not bad.
