I'm not trying to spam up the place, but Finish Line has a great deal on NCAA sweatshirts. 2 sweatshirts (and they have virtually every Division I school) for $40 shipped. Exact total came out to $42.50 with taxes. I purchased a couple, and they're good quality. The logos are stitched on, not cheaply screen-printed. They ship the shirts directly from the school's region, so don't be surprised when they show up in separate packages, or even different days. Link:

Edit: just realized free shipping is no longer offered, and it's now half off shipping. Still the total will be sub $50.

I was at a Finish Line about a month ago and I think they were trying to get
rid of some older stock. I picked up a nice orange Illinois zip up sweatshirt
with Fighting Illini stitched across the front for $14.95. Never liked the store
much growing up but now they are usually my first stop if I have to go to a mall.

Ordered a couple of these during the last sale. Definitely worth it, quality is good.

There are obscure schools on there. Of course, my 12,000+ enrolled university isn't on there. Oh well, I bought Colorado and Georgia State.

You might be using too much pressure, or not the edge of the squeegee. Sweats are harder to print, but if you are using tack (we just use regular tack) and your printing through a 110 mesh things should be OK. Try adjusting your print angle to use the sharp edge, that may help you a bit. 8) 8) 8)

It sounds like your just not pre-flashing the hoods...I constantly have to print sweatshirts and god knows everyone wants a dark sweatshirt with 5 bright colors on them...As long as you use adhesive, preferably flash adhesive...just pre-flash each sweatshirt for about 5 or 6 seconds (as sweatshirt material gets hot quicker)...The pre-flashing before any printing, mats down the fibers and contracts the fibers enough to result in a more even, crisp print...You shouldn't have any texture problems or problems in general as long as you pre flash the garment...this works with most garments especially when they're tending to shrink.
