Illinois looking good.

Shit, roughing the passer. Shit call. Is this Bob Griese ? He sounds like an asshole as usual.

O.K., He is right on that. The clock in college should not be stopped to move the chains.

I was thinking Griffin would dominate this game for Baylor, but Illinois defense is doing whatever it can, if Baylor doesn't get a good second half start, this could get ugly.

Illinois is playing well. Mikel is a damn good back. What else can be said? They are owning Baylor.

Not much to say about it. Pretty dominating victory, especially for the defense. It's easy to make too much out of a win against a 7-5 (4-4) Big XII team, so I'll try not to do that.

What I will say is that Illinois won six games this year, including five against BCS-level competition (PSU, Indiana, Purdue, Northwestern, and Baylor) by 20 points or more. Five losses were by 11 points or less, with three by 4 points or less. That could either mean this is a team that just can't finish close games, or it's a team that is close to breaking through for a decent season next year. With the youth, I hope it's the latter, but with some good juniors likely to leave for the draft, some others will have to step up.

Illinois played a very solid game and held onto the ball in the portions I saw.
Leshoure is very good but I was just as impressed with the fullback #21.
He caught the ball well and laid some nice blocks from what I could see.
Not sure he is actually a FB but was definitely built like one, I'd love to
see the Bears with a guy like that. QB played a conservative but nice
game, a lot of potential here if a majority of the underclassmen stick
around.

well it could be both, too. sometimes the reason a team like that can't finish is because of the youth factor. i kinda like their QB and i think they can be pretty good next year. are they getting any big recruits for 2011?

Mikel is as good as gone. He's as good as any back I've seen this year with a combo of speed and power.
