I expect him to declare simply because his playing time is going to go to nil. He was terribly mis-used in the Rose Bowl and it's apparent that Ball and White have passed him due to injuries and while his best decision would be to have a healthy year at UW, I think they have moved past him. http://espn.go.com/blog/bigten/post/_/i ... sion-today |

Also, he was a red-shirt junior and I think he is already 23. I thought he got hosed in the Rose Bowl to, it was pretty clear early on that White was not going to be able to get it done and I didn't understand Bielema not giving him those carries earlier. Of course, I didn't agree with several of Bielema's decision in this game, so this should come as no surprise. |

Yes, he would likely be best served taking his chances with the NFL and having a good combine. Not only do the Badgers have the two smaller backs but they have a decent recruit coming in that decommitted from Iowa a little while back so their stable will be full and he'll likely only get looks in short yardage and goal line situations. |

I actually like the options Iowa got better. |

Yeah, seems to me that Wisconsin now has 3 very similar runners under their roof. If Clay moves on, they'll miss that bigger bruising runner. |

The Journal Sentinel is reporting he is gone, they will have more on it later. |

Yea, sounds like he met with 2Beez today and let him know he's declaring. Solid late round pick. Could be a surprise, IMO. |

Again, should not be a surprise - with his injuries, Chryst had him as an after thought. He's probably a FA pickup but what the hell was he going to do in Madison next year with White and Ball getting all the carries. |
