Clearly Auburn had the better players because some of those defensive tackles were hogs. But that Farley guy was a douche. You slam somebody's head into the turf in an amateur game and you don't get thrown out? Also Oregon should have kicked a field goal instead of going for it on 4th down with a run up the middle. They should at least have attempted a pass on 4th down because you can't run on a team like Auburn up the middle. They should also have come up with some better plays to not give up a safety. That play where the guy fell down on top of the other player is ridiculous. They call you down in college if you fall down for any reason. I hate those plays where the guy is running with the ball when everyone else clearly thinks the play is over. I would like to see Cam Newton in the NFL, if only to see him tackled by some real players. It's clear when you watch the game that Auburn had the bigger players. Newton may look good against Oregon's tiny players, but he wouldn't be running QB sneaks in the NFL. |

On the drive that Oregon got stopped on 4th down near the endzone, the worse thing that happened was the play before when it was 3rd and goal at the 5, the running back gets 4 yards, if they don't get anything they probably kick, but since they were so close, they went for it and got stopped. |
