Have a few stinkers along the way.

I feel better that in 2 years it will be better but for now it can be ugly to watch.

It's funny. Gary Barnett used to hold beating Iowa as a sign that the program had reached a new plateau.

It's weird that Iowa fans now hold Northwestern in this regard --- not just for the football program, but for basketball as well.

Sure - I'm pissed after every bowl game, particularly since they have all been close. And I'm not trashing Iowa basketball or football.

Fitzgerald does a good job of making sure his players are prepared to play Iowa. He knows the Hawkeyes are more than capable of upsetting NU on any given Saturday.

And as much as I don't like him, I do give Carmody credit for preaching to his players to not look past Iowa.

The funny thing I thought I saw the other day was that Lickliter as bad as he was - was 3-0 against NU in Iowa City. That could be inaccurate but I thought I read that.

I was watching at commercials. Iowa had a good game from what I could see. Indiana is pretty beat down with injuries.
