It's not as buzz worthy as it has been in the past but I still love this tournament. I have tomorrow off to watch all the games; but I'll follow as much as I can today.

And I'll be drinking Bailey's later for all you drinky board fans.

Cheers.

Question, why do people call it BW3? Buffalo Wild Wings only has 2 words that begin with W, shouldn't it be called BW2? This name just sounds even dumber than calling it "B-Dubs", which makes me want to punch someone in the face when I hear it. Why not call it BW-Squared, for all the mathmatically advanced peeps out there?

Sorry just venting, BW6 really blows.

I've often wondered that myself. Then I just drink to get the thoughts squashed. It seems to work well.

I was told that originally it had a West in there too.

I like to think that the extra W is for "Watered down drinks".

Actually, Dr. Ken is right. I don't know what a Weck is but I'm not eating it.

I was listening to ESPN this morning, the one day of the year that I do, and as they were talking about the magical moments, I began to wonder if that will still be the case.

While it was sometimes maddening to have your game switched, it did allow you to know if something was happening in other games that you needed to know about. The frantic nature of the endings and the switching added to the excitement. Now, with no more "Live Look-ins", it will be reliant on me to find the other channels and keep switching. I hope it doesn't lose something.

Of course, if I just went to a sports bar, problem solved.

You learn a lot of useless information when sitting by yourself at bars and reading the back of menus during commercials.

A tip for you youngsters out there....

These next 4 days and the weekend rounds of the Masters are my top 2 sporting
events of the year. Really looking forward to watching as soon as I get home at
3. Won't be a very productive day at work.

A "weck" is short for a kimmelweck roll. Its like a seasoned kaiser roll. They served food on them back in the day.

I was going to start a new thread but Northside Dan essentially revealed the premise.
I am in two pools one for CSFMB and one through my brothers work, here is what I
came up with...

Brother pool

Ohio St
UConn
Notre Dame
Pitt

Champion -- Ohio St

CSFMB pool

Ohio St
UConn
Kansas
Pitt

Champion -- Kansas

I fully expect to be tearing these up by Sunday night but that is the fun I guess.
Big upset stories I had were Belmont to get to the sweet 16 in one pool and
Gonzaga, Mich St and Utah St getting there in the other.

Not only is today the beginning of the greatest sports tournament in the world, it's also St. Patricks day What a glorious combination! And, it's gonna be warm enough to smoke a cigar outside!
Already have 2 big corn beef briskets in the slow cooker & ready for some hoopage.
No meetings or conference calls scheduled for today or tomorrow.
Sleeper teams: Richmond, Xavier, Belmont, Gonzaga.

I have Gonzaga and Utah State to the Sweet 16 in both my pools also. I decided to go against Belmont because it seems to be a little trendy.

Another trendy upset pick I can't see happening is Oakland over Texas.

A Clemson win right off the bat over West Virginia would help me out. I played my two brackets a little differently because there are different rules for each, but I have Clemson in both.

First beer = opened. Going with Newcastle today, which feels wrong on St. Patrick's day, but so be it. What in holy hell happened to Drew Carey?

Drew Carey is the only Man in the world who actually looked better before he lost too much weight.

It's not just the weight. He had blonde hair and hipster sideburns. He was also wearing a bright yellow bow tie. It was like Orville Reddenbacher's slow grandson was guest-hosting The Price is Right.

Bob Barker looks like he lost a fight with a bottle of bronzer, at least if that State Farm commercial is to be believed.
