On the bright side, Bernstein just realized that Illinois' games were much better this year than he thought.

Athletic, undersized 3 that's only played as a 4, can't shoot, turnover prone, and not good handling the basketball, not a particularly good passer with attitude problems. On the plus side, he's scrappy.

Maybe he thinks if an average Illini football team can have NFL first rounders he can be a NBA first rounder off an average Illini basketball team

Second round pick at best. My guess is he should buy his ticket to Europe right now. Regardless of how he actually performed on the court, I will give him credit for single-handedly turning around Illinois' recruiting by committing as a freshman. So, Jereme, thank you for that.
