Rules of the game: predict the standings of the conferences at the end of the season. All ties between teams will be settled in the following order:

Head to head
Record in divisional play
BCS rankings
Overall record
Points scored

In other words, no teams will be tied for purposes of the contest.

Accuracy of the entries is recorded as follows: One point is gained for every spot away your prediction was from the finishing placement of the team. If you predict Florida State to win the ACC Atlantic division, and they do, that prediction gets 0 points. If you predict them to finish first and they finish fourth, you get 3 points. The most points you can earn for any single team is capped at 5. Lowest point total wins (a perfect score is 0).

Entries must be in by kickoff of the first game of the season: 5:00 PM, September 1st. Award TBA. Walt Williams' Neck is ineligible to play.

I meant to put this, but this contest looks like fun, probably wait until August to make the picks.

I figured people would wait. There will be injuries, suspensions, etc.

Also, people can feel free to PM the picks when we get closer if they don't want to reveal them or whatever. I can post them after 9/1, or you could do the same.

Thinking the reward is going to be a $50 Amazon gift card, but I'm trying to get a college football hook, so still TBA.

Way to complicated for you to run this. Expect week 3 updates by the Liberty Bowl

Why would I update on week three? You pick teams one time. It ends at the close of the regular season. I'm glad you're not eligible because I don't want to write a dumbed down Walt Williams's Neck Version of the rules.

Dude, check out Kirk Cousins speech at the Big 10 Kickoff Luncheon. I was lucky enough to go and hear it live. The kid will be an impressive leader in whatever he decides to do.

Just looking it over since were about halfway, looks like we all took FSU to win the Atlantic, but more and more it will be Clemson.
